It comes with the \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.audioadvice.com\/ortofon-2m-red-phono-cartridges\"\u003eOrtofon 2M Red cartridge\u003c\/a\u003e, which allows you to upgrade the sound just by changing the stylus to the \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.audioadvice.com\/ortofon-stylus-2m-blue\"\u003eOrtofon 2M Blue stylus\u003c\/a\u003e, and the built in phono preamp perfectly matches the Ortofon, but you can defeat it if you wish.
